For those of you who have a Salvadoran prayer child, or would like to start a relationship with a student in El Salvador, please see your Santa Cruz al Salvador church representative to fill out your commitment card for 2017. We ask that people re-commit to their relationship each year. New this year: we can accept monthly, recurring payments on the Donations page through PayPal.

The responsibilities of a prayer child sponsor include:

• Accept the obligation of praying for the child on a regular basis.
• Communicate at least annually to that child. Yes, there can be a language barrier, but if you keep the message simple they can have it translated. Sending a picture of you and your family is a tremendous start.
• Provide a gift to be given to your prayer child during the scholarship ceremony — which is usually in January.
• A donation to our scholarship program.
